Istanbul versus Nevşehir

There are 81 provinces in Turkey. All of the provinces have different beauties and features. For example, there are two types of cities. One is a coastal city like Istanbul. The other is a city with no coast, such as  Nevşehir. Both types own numerous attributes. While there are some similarities between Nevşehir and Istanbul, the differences between them are much greater.

There are notable similarities between Nevşehir and Istanbul. The first similarity is to have historical places. A variety of civilizations lived in both Istanbul and Nevşehir in the past. That is why a number of historical places remained from past to present. By way of illustration, Nevşehir owns numerous historical places like Fairy Chimneys. Likewise, Istanbul is of countless historical sites, such as Topkapı Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace, and Blue Mosque. Therefore, these tourist attractions play a vital role in both cities’ economy. The second similarity is that Istanbul is the same in air temperature as Nevşehir now that both Istanbul and Nevşehir have similar climates. Moreover, just like people who are from Nevşehir, people in Istanbul are helpful to the others. To cite an example, if people are harmed, other people rush to see them through.

Despite these similarities, there are also differences between Istanbul and Nevşehir. The primary difference between these two cities is that Nevşehir and Istanbul have problems in terms of transportation, but in different ways. In Nevşehir, people have to own a car to ensure a comfortable living inasmuch as Nevşehir does not have enough public transportation. As for Istanbul, due to the fact that Istanbul is very crowded, there is heavy traffic in its every district. Furthermore, Nevşehir is safer than Istanbul. As an illustration, even though people who live in Nevşehir are able to go out freely, those in Istanbul feel obliged to control everywhere. Along with these, Istanbul provides its people with a number of facilities, whereas Nevşehir has limited opportunities. To exemplify this, while Istanbul offers quality education and a wide range of recreational centers, Nevşehir owns less quality ones.

To sum up, it is clear that although there are several crucial similarities between Nevşehir and Istanbul, there are significant differences as well. Indeed, it does not matter what city an individual lives. The most important thing is that individuals should know how to take advantage of the facilities that these cities offer them.
