Differences between high schools and universities

Universities and high schools differ in several ways. First of all, there is more freedom at universities than that in high schools. For instance, most of the students have to wear uniforms in high schools, whereas university students are permitted to wear whatever they wish. In addition, while students in high schools are obliged to stay with their own family, university students have the chance to stay in a separate flat, dorm or hostel. Unlike students at universities, high school students feel under more pressure because they have more responsibilities than university students. Along with these, university students can socialise more and thus make  more friends. For example, universities enable their students to meet different people from different countries thanks to international student exchange programs. In summary, universities are very different from high schools in a large number of ways.
